To build buzz ahead of the premiere of The Golden Bachelor, ABC partnered with Interstellar to transform one of LA’s most iconic streets — Melrose Avenue — into Mel’s Rose Avenue. The name alone made it the perfect fit: a nod to The Bachelor’s signature rose and the newest leading man, Mel Owens.
At the center of the takeover was The Golden Garden, a central hub filled with golden roses, interactive stations, and photo-worthy moments. Guests began their journey here, receiving a golden rose and a scratch-off Date Card before exploring Melrose Avenue to unlock exclusive Golden Deals at local businesses.
With playful, unexpected moments woven throughout the neighborhood, the experience brought the world of The Golden Bachelor to life. Crowds flooded the streets with golden roses in hand and shared their experiences on social, driving excitement and buzz leading into the season premiere.
